Nawras Family Member:
As a Programme Manager, you will be looking after the portfolio of company-wide strategic projects by supporting project managers and by creating visibility into the status of ongoing company projects.You are also expected to project manage strategic projects from start to finish
Core Responsibilities:
You will support project managers in developing project plans, business cases and other project management tools. You will be required to monitor and communicate programs' status against critical milestones to ensure objectives are met and facilitate obstacle resolution and manage escalation / decision making. You will incorporate mechanisms to "motivate" project managers to deliver and report on progress of assigned projects. You will support Execution and Delivery Management Office (EDMO) in building the project management fundamentals in Nawras.
You will also be expected to:
Ensure alignment of new projects' core elements with Project Management Office (PMO) standards
Support project set-up and project planning
Manage integration of new projects within the PMO process
Monitor progress of projects relative to plans
Provide support to project managers to ensure that deliverables are successfully completed
Identify project obstacles (risks, issues and changes in scope) and support resolution / creation of mitigation plans
Facilitate decision making when multiple parties are involved and escalation when required
Prepare project dashboards
Develop ad-hoc project assessments and reviews
Provide progress reports to Directors and ExCo
Run feedback sessions with project managers
Consolidate lessons learned with Process Manager
Project manage strategic projects from start to finish by ensuring that all project related documentation is kept and updated.
Qualification & Experience:
To be considered, you must have a university degree and must obtain a Project Management Certification. A minimum of 8 years of telecom-related working experience in a managerial capacity is preferred. You should have a thorough understanding of project management techniques, best practices, standards, approaches and tools.
